The intent behind any yoga teachings should be to help the student find steadiness and ease on the mat, and offer them the chance to experience those sensations in all areas of life. When we get to a place where we can find that steadiness and ease, then the world opens up to us in a way that pushes us to be better, do better, and be a strong and powerful force in the world. Let's do that together. With lots of smiles, fun, and joy-filled moments along the way.

Vinyasa Flow
Playful sequencing. Longer holds.
A flow-based class doesn't have to be fast-paced and all over the place. It can be strong, slow, and steady, too. I'm interested in making the flow-based practice less about the chaturangas, and more about the changes we can make when connections are strong between breath, body, and mind. You dig?

Restorative
Sink in. Tune out. Get present.
The restorative yoga practice is designed with the busy, stressed, overwhelmed-by-life yogi in mind. We'll use all sorts of props to support the body in postures intended to let the nervous system completely relax. This practice leaves us feeling refreshed, rested, and rejuvenated. Better than a cup of coffee.

Mindfulness + Alignment
Get aligned. Everywhere.
These two go hand-in-hand, and serve as the foundation for a strong and consistent practice. When we are mindful of the connections between the body and breath, the mind becomes at ease. When the body is physically aligned, it offers space for the breath to flow and the mind to become steady. Powerful reminders. Useful tools.
